	So if the father of Alexander was William, Ship Plater.................. Alexander McCulloch (Shipyard Labourer) aged 31 son of William (Ship Plater (deceased) and Christina McCulloch ............then the first 1891 I posted must be the correct family!

	The clan Macrae site is very good on the Macraes. Many originated from Kintail, Ross and Cromarty I believe. You may find it useful :) http://www.clan-macrae.org.uk/ Good luck.
