Joanne, I believe I am the grandaughter of Elizabeth by her son John Thomas Peters Trivett, from her first marriage. I don't know a lot as by the time I came along dad had severed all ties with her as he didn't get on with his stepdad. John was born in 1924 and died in 1985. He had 3 daughters.
Two are now living in Australia (me included) and one is still in the UK.

Hi all,

I also found out that Elizabeth had a son from her 1st marriage a John Trivett dont know if there are any middle names or a birth date for him I have searched for a birth for him from 1915-1925 and not had any luck. I don't know the name of Elizabeth's 1st husband just surname.

This family seems to be a mystery, If anybody can help it would be great even if it seems so small. If you cant find anything please post that on here because I may have to go further a field to find this family.

Hi all, I have some new info. I have purchased 2 of Elizabeths childrens birth certs. on 1 of them the mothers name is Betty Elizabeth Simmons formerly Trivett and the other one is Betty Elizabeth Simmons late Trivett formerly Peters. It might be possible that she was born Betty Elizabeth. I still havent been able to find anything on her though. Can anyone shread any light on this?

I have found out from one of Elizabeth's daughter's that her maiden name is Peters but still unable to find a birth

Hi all, I have found some more info for Elizabeth she died Jan 1987 Ealing her birth on there is 17th Mar 1895, Though I am still having probs finding a birth for her(not knowing what her maiden name was). I have found out that she had children - Peter and Patricia the twins as I mentioned in an earlier message, Joyce, Joan, and gwen. possibly a Jean. They were all born in the greenford/Eltham area.

Once you find what you think is the right marriage, you can click on the blue reference number and it will bring up all the people on that page .. If you're lucky there are only two, but sometime up to 8.
You then have to match the couples with whatever you know.
In the instance of finding Thomas's marriage there were only 3 names showing ( there should be an even number) so the other two may have been one couple marrying each other, which leaves Thomas's spouse unrecorded on the index.
If you ordered that cert number his bride would be on it.
