Evening everyone

I would be most grateful if anyone could help me i have just added my partner to my family tree as we are soon to be married and have asked him for information about his family as he is somewhat interested of his back ground, the bad news is his grandparents passed away while he was a small child and has no info of them at all so i wondered if i might ask for some help.
His parents are Keith Victor White born 22/08/1950 and Janet Helen Brown born 16/01/1954 we think both born London area we believe, what we would like to find out is infomation on the grandparents if this is not to much trouble.
Im really sorry that i dont have any more information than this.

The marriage of Marc's parents was in Basingstoke district

I see they did. Their marriage cert would give you their father's names which might help.

Thanks for your help, Marc has just said that he remembers one of his grandads being called Thomas so this would be right, its proving somewhat a little difficult trying to get info from his parents hence why we are having to do things this way.

marc says that his grandfather died later than 1975 as marc was not born until 1977 and remembers him being ill at home (Basingstoke) .
So this one would be incorrect.

Have sent marriage cert details to Suzanne in case they wish to obtain it.

On the death if it is his death it states birth 15 sep 1911, this one says Dec 1911

Samantha, the "Dec" refers to the registration quarter. So you have Jan-March and so on, the last being Oct-Dec. it refers to registration of the event not the event itself. So for example, a child could be born \March 20th and registered April, so will appear in the Apr-June quarter.
