I can't see on here the 1911 for Alfred & Matilda...I can see one for Frederick & Rosanna

or have i missed it

So the address on the B/C for Sarah martches the address for Frederick & Rosanne on the 1911


But i can't see the connection to Alfred & Matilda that you have said there is

Frederick with the Mum called Matilda Is a Belt maker in the 1901...he is also still in Nottinghamshire.......

The 1901 that i have put on ( Pg1) is in the same area as his future spouse

He is also living with his Sister..hence the 1881 i have put on

I really think you should order the marriage certificate that has been posted to get Fred's father's name, otherwise you could go off on the wrong track.

Which was what i also said a hour ago...my replies were to TS as to why i don't think Matilda & Alfred were Fredericks parents

Julie... you are right I just looked up the 1901 at the same time as you were doing it. I have deleted my bits (which were only possibles) re Alfred and Matilda and yes the marriage certificate for Fred and Rosanna is the only way to be sure.

I think this is Frederick with his older sister Harriet who later married Horace Hancock and with whom Frederick was living on the 1901 census:

Hi again on the 1871 census Thomas Knight aged 56 and Ann aged 53 son Benjamin on the free b.m.d i found a Thomas Knight married to Ann Crow in nottingham sep 1845 is this poss it might be benjamins mother thanks janette.
