JaneyCanuck Report 26 Jun 2010 01:42

His marriage:

Marriages Jun 1932
Jones Arthur T King Anglesey 11b 831
King Dorothy A Jones Anglesey 11b 831

There are unfortunately dozens of Jones-King births 1921-1941, but none in Anglesey.

I see why these are the ones the organizer had so much trouble with. So far, two Jones-s and an Evans!!

UPDATE by edit on JUNE 28th:

Birth record found for son of Arthur Tysilis Jones and Dorothy Ada Jones. The son is also called Arthur Tysilis Jones, b 1940, Glamorganshire. This is the person currently being sought, as possibly the closest living relative of the above.

We don't need to got back in time at this point - now trying to trace any marriages, children, relations (not necessarily ancestors) etc. of the son Arthur Tysilis Jones, b 1940, Glamorganshire.

I have posted more info about the original enquiry here:

I am not personally looking for relatives. I am just trying to help any remaining relatives find out about this memorial service. The organisers are keen to ensure that they track them down for the 70th and last memorial service.

Please could you let me know whether or not you think that you are related or if you can help by giving me any leads? I have agreed to help the organisers by following up any leads on Genes Reunited.

Many, many thanks to everyone who has already helped with the other queries I have posted recently about the other soldiers,

Best wishes,
Liz
