Louisa Horsley ca 1869 married Albert Alfred Jarvis 07.12.1893 in Walthamstow. The marriage cert gives her father as John Horsley (deceased). A witness was a Mary Horsley.

Trying to locate Louisa's birth or find her on 1871, 81 & 91 census.

EDIT 29.06.10 : Would somebody please be kind enought to list the 1871 household record for a Rebecca Horslem b 1845 +/- 10 years, in Islington - found on FMP

Hi AOGG - thanks for that info. From our own search, we lean towards the Louisa with grandparents.
Is it possible to trace the grandparents back to find their children - hopefully, with a son John!

Flick, have checked Freebmd but none that seem to tie up with Walthamstow! Trying to look at census to see if any conflict on birthplaces to try and eliminate before ordering certs.

ON 1891 Rebecca gives her birthplace as TWINSTEAD - she also says she's a widow, but I'm sceptical about that..............

I have looked at Twinstead as pointed out by Flick, and think I have found mom Rebecca as a servant in 1881 - unmarried!
