Gertrude Emily Robbins ( born 1874 ) & brother Francis Richard Robbins ( born 1870 ) - both born in Stretton on Dunsmore , Warwickshire - children of George & Elizabeth Robbins.

Gertrude last spotted on 1891 living with parents in Brinklow , Francis in 1881 living with parents in Princethorpe ( both in Warwickshire )...parents moved to Wolston between 1891 - 1901 census' & still live there on 1911 census.

Can anyone find Francis on 1891-1901-1911 census' and Gertrude on 1901-1911 census' please.

This is a very complicated family & i am trying to unravel their " mysteries " for my cousin , whose father died afew weeks ago aged 85.

His grandfather is believed to have had a younger brother called Christopher , but i have found no evidence to support this until your 1911 post for Gertrude ( grandfather Francis is with his grandparents in 1901 & 1911 census' for some reason - George + Elizabeth Robbins ).

Can i please ask if it says how many children Gertrude + Thomas have & if any have died...thanks again !

6 children and they were all still alive. Still can't find a marriage though.

1911 and marriage for Francis are not the correct ones.
As you can see in my posting as 21:51 the father of that Francis was also called Francis.

This is a bit confusing , but i think that my cousins' grandfather Francis Robbins Smith ( born Wolston 1896 ) was possibly Gertrude's son born before her marriage ? ( although it seems that she did not marry Thomas Smith either ).
Possibly his Robbins grandparents ( Gertrude's parents ) raised him...i hope all of this makes sense !
