Vanessa-yowzers,you DO suffer from them.

I'm along the ignore/don"t scratch line.
Listerine on a cotton ball helps somewhat.

I could also grab our dusty bottle of Benadryl(sp?) and have a party!

You have to sign up with the site to be able to see the documents .... but it is free, as I said.

"Wait a sec-he's going to his father's (Frank's)place in Lawrence??"

Or a cousin Frank or some such?

1910 US census has a Frank Cockroft in Worcester county, Massachusetts, born c1881 (no parents or spouse showing, but that's all I can see). There's a little clan of other Cockrofts born 186801906 in Worcester county. No Frank Corkson in MA.

Hi girls. Maureen very kindly gave me passport application information, I have been trying to access this but it seems that I would have to join Ancestry .com to view this, is my assumption correct?

Thanks, Paul.

MaureeninNY

MaureeninNY Report 19 Jul 2010 20:23

Hi Paul,
You assume correctly.
You can either take out a 2 week trial offer on Ancestry or else PM me with your e-mail address and I'll try to send you a copy of the passport application. "Try" being the operative word!

COCKROFT Frank Unknown M 1909 Liverpool USA Boston

Paul, I'll tolerate "ladies" in the collective (as in: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen). "Girls", no ta. Not for me!

Of course, I haven't noticed you saying anything to me at all ...

MaureeninNY Report 19 Jul 2010 20:51

Janey,
Don't you know? THAT Frank is Calvin and Hannah's son from Bradford (born abt 1881). He's a wool sorter who kept going back and forth to Gilbertville,Mass.

I'm getting seasick looking at these people....
