I don't think the family with Edward born 1898 in Goole is the correct family.

You said he was born Doncaster but there isn't one born in Doncaster.

This is the birth for Ethel.

Births Mar 1918 (99%)
Kirby Ethel Laycock Doncaster 9c 1538

At the moment I can't find a marriage for Edward Kirby to Laycock.

According to Ethel's birth reg her mmn was Laycock.

It's very complicated because if Ethel's mother was a Sharp then Annie Sharpe wouldn't have been married to William Kirby.

As I said above Ethel's mother's name was Laycock.

I KNOW WILLIAM WAS BORN LONDON AND I WAS TRYING TO FIND HIS PARENTS AND A MARRIAGE FOR EDWARD AND ANNIE TO FIND EDWARDS ANNIE'S LAST NAME

The parents of Edward born 1898 in Goole were William and Ada.

How sure are you that Edward was born in 1898, when did he die?
