Where does 'Francis' come from? No second initial on the marriage record..................

His Grandaughter told me he was called george francis and then he had a son and called him Francis george knowles

The Hones are Joseph's sister, and her husband and their daughter

"Corporal" is George Hone's rank, in the 1st Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment. He was born in Brighton
