This might explain why he is not on the 1911 census?

Thank you Ann for all the look-ups.
Most of the people are known to me and the Daniel marrying Mary GALE is the same one who married Elizabeth 'up north' as Daniel Granville BELCHAMBER.

Thank you rootgatherer for finding him in October 1911. He was 71 by then, but having lied at marriage, I guess he had to keep working. He was still on board a ship when he died in 1915.

As I never have him in a census with Elizabeth, it is difficult to determine the way of their relationship after marriage, that's why I wondered about Eliza, but she is showing as O'GORMAN.

When he died his home address was 53 Orlando Street, informant his widow E.A. BELCHAMBER and when she died, -as Elizabeth Ann BELCHAMBER that was her home address too, registered by her son, C.O'GORMAN of same address.

Daniel and Elizabeth married in 'the parish church', but I've been told that Elizabeth is buried in the Roman Catholic area of a cemetery.

so

Is Eliza O'GORMAN ( 1911 census ) the same person as Elizabeth Ann BELCHAMBER (married to Daniel ) nee Elizabeth Ann MULLEN.....?

Thank you Maureen.

I was hoping that someone else would agree that there are just too many coincidences in the information.

I'll add that information to my notes now...........

Many thanks

Thank you Ann for the extra notes.

I have a copy of the marriage certificate, but interestingly at the top it just says they married in'the parish church, Liverpool'.... so it's good to have the church's name, ... Thank you.
