If Ian doesn't return, I'll have to send him a message as 'parting' is such sweet sorrow!

Oh, ladies, ladies!
I wonder if Ian realizes what he's started here?

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 14 Aug 2010 14:15

obviously not - d'you think he'll be thrilled to have so many replies!!!

course he may well be dusting his sideboards off!! or combing through his family tree

Oh Ann! Cut it out! I get enough of that at home. Hubby is the worst punster I know. Must be something to do with curly hair!

Cynthia

Of course, he may be on the fringe of GR and come back with a bang.

He could be trying to attract our attention and his hand is stuck in a permanent wave.

Well, that just about crowns it all.

Cynthia!!! You're worse than AGG!

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 14 Aug 2010 17:26

could be cuttin' a rug or singing "Let's all go down the Strand"

or "Moonlight becomes you, it goes with your hair"

Surrey with a fringe on top?

Ian

It was meant to be a semi serious question, but I did smile at some of the puns. In future I will keep my quiff below the parapet. Bye, Ian

A serious request? Mmm, love to see a frivolous one ... never mind Ian, will say goodbye - parting is such sweet sorrow ...

But..... the spelling may not be the same for each generation. My mother's maiden name was Revell, her father is shown in birth records as Revall, his father as Revill and his father as Revel. One of the ancestors was also shown as Reville!!

What a mix up! Probably they all had their hair parted in different ways.

Now now ladies, you know how sensitive the lads are about their barnet,

we should not delve into male- pattern baldness or other delicate matters.!

I 'll start a knitting circle for beanie hats to keep things covered up .!

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 15 Aug 2010 13:04

how kind!!!!

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 15 Aug 2010 13:12

Just make sure the hats are short at the back and sides though Lindsey*. Or, perhaps, a pudding basin shape would be in order.

Carole....was that a parting of the ways you were talking about?
