So are you saying the gertrude listed on the 1911 is your nan?? her birth certwill name her parenst so you will know if it Ellen or Florence

You have SSSoooo much more info than you have given on here - e.g. 'he had 4 more names' !!!

What were they ?? who was he ??

I have searched for her as well they are astrange family always changing or adding names when Thomas otho's father died he had gained 4 more names
