The only death of Lucy J Norris on Ancestry is in 1943 - age 52.

So, if she was David's wife, they must have divorced............

No children for Norris with either of the female surnames of the marriages posted

Hi Everyone, No I don't have a birth certificate for Donald Norris this information came through an elderly family member who so far has been reasonable accurate.
The only other thing that I could think of is that Donald may have been his 2nd name.
I have searched in just about every place and time I could think of and still had no luck, and until I can find either a marriage or birth I am unable to order any certificates.
The other thing is if David Norris was in the forces could the marriage have been overseas?

I think lulabell and flick are right with the birth death and marriage

it is common for children born out of wedlock at that time to be given the mother's surname and the father's surname to be used as the middle name hence the name Donald Norris Berriman

You have been given the birth, and death, and possible marriage for Donald..............and the marriage of David to his mother........

You seem not to have taken any notice of the info people have troubled to find for you.

Hi Flick Actually I have, some of the information i had put in shoebox to recheck and answered inquiry on certificate. Not sure what time it is where you are but most of my work I do at night and I'm afraid to say sometimes I go of to bed after trying to keep up with any information people are kind enough to give me and to which I am very appreciative.
I also work and so I am not always available to answer straight away but in no way do I not appreciate the time and effort that people have given me.
