You might have to buy Albert's birth certificate to get mother's maiden name:

There was another thread and we found a probable name change from Shakespeare to Brown after 1871 I think.

As you will see Terry, Albert was listed as Brown in 1901.

You were actually asked a question at the end of the previous thread but didn't reply to it.

I don't know if you are still using this site but I am also trying to track down an Albert Shakespeare who married Daisy Bailey in 1919 (My nanny's Aunty). Did you ever have any luck?
I am trying to put together family tree but also track down where they may have been living in the mid to late 20s / early 30s as Nanny believes she lived with them at East Tisted but we cannot trace them to here.
