i have his marriage certificate 1916 it says he was 25 married rose grossmith dicks says his father was andreww

i do have it ,says he was 25 in 1916 married rose grossmith in bristol but before then nothing his father is called andrew on the marriage certificate
he was not married to my mother tho she always sadi he was

1911 also, This puts Rose and the previous Sydney in the same area (ish) in 1911. They are in Salford, Lancs.

I have found Sydney Bert in 1901, So the one Vera has found in 1901 is not that one, So could be a posible for you. I cannot see a birth entry for him.

Going by the age on his death registration, He would have been born c1893.

Again, You need to obtain the mariage cert for definate answers.

Have deleted the birth as Gypsy found a death.

We all agree the marriage certificate is the way to go.....
