Trying to find the wife of Frederick Eyres c1870, and mother of Frederick William Eyres c1891 - 1956. They lived in the Bristol area.
Her parents would be nice if it's not too much trouble.
Her name may have started with an E or may be F
Thank you

Thank you Ann of Green Gables,
Emily it is then.
I wonder why Frederick was born so far away ?
Didn't think they took holidays in those days.

Is there any easy way of finding her maiden name or parents

Steven

Steven Report 31 Aug 2010 21:22

Sorry Stephen,

it means he married either one?? Indexes did not show maiden surname to match the male.

Do you know anything about him at all, occupation siblings etc

Steven

Steven Report 31 Aug 2010 21:36

Hmmm, according to auto route it's about 120 miles.
I would have thought that would have been pretty uncomfortable.
Goodness knows why she went. Must have been important to her.
Wonder if she went to see her parents?
Wonder if they might have married there?

Steven,

Just reading through your replies............I thought you said Fredericks father was Frederick............am I missing something here?

Steven

Steven Report 31 Aug 2010 21:53

My fault, should have written it more clearly.
Frederick Willam Eyers's c1891 father, was Frederick Eyers c1870.
It's the mother of the first and wife of the second I'm after.
Or FWs mum and Fs wife.
Hope this helps

Steven Report 31 Aug 2010 22:03

Just read the post about a charge of five credits.
Horror / shock !!!!
I know I have asked for help and am most greatful, but please don't go to any additionay cost on my account.
You will have to trust me, but there are a few homeless dogs out there who will eat a little more for a little longer when I pay in kind for your help tonight.

**Ann** Report 31 Aug 2010 22:11

I have a subscription so dont worry!

How do you know where F 1891 was born, and how did you arrive at the birth year?

who are his siblings, and how do you arrive at an initial? for the wife.

The census info Ann has posted has a Frederick born 1880??

Steven

Steven Report 31 Aug 2010 22:18

Family member did some research some time ago and wrote a few things down.
Some of the info is good but a lot of it is just snatching at straws.and has proved to be wrong.
Simply took for granted that if he had a family in Bristol then he might have came from there.
I'm sat down, I can take it. go on hit me.

**Ann** Report 31 Aug 2010 22:27
