James had an older brother. Henry, b.1854, married Selina Sharp 1877. As we now have a shipping record entry for Claus Hn Dittmer (see above post from Jane), it seems he came to England in 1846. I would love to know his place of origin in Hannover. |

What we need now is an exact place of origin for Claus Henrich Dittmer. Do you know where I could look for that? |
