Irish research is a bit 'specialised' but there are some people on here who have access to many Irish records.

I suggest you edit your thread title to denote that Irish research is required - Perhaps "Russel family Co Down, Ireland" or something similar, that way those who can help will notice the thread.

Good luck,

Hi Lesley - I meant edit your title NOT start a new thread. !!

Can you delete the other one you just started please as there is already useful info on here?

To edit the title on here - go to your first post and bottom left you will see'edit/delete/add' - click on edit and you will be able to change your title, then click 'submit' at the bottom of the message and 'away you go' !!!

Don't worry Lesley - we all have to learn - just go up to your first message on here and change the title to ask for Irish Research as you did before.

Let me know if you have any problems.

I have at least discovered where your name comes from - It shows allegiance to Ireland - "Ireland Forever !!"

Am I right (ish??)
