I think the marriage was in 1952 in Coventry to a lady with the christian name of Vine..

Did work backwards from Christopher. His name when you go to send a message has changed but it all matches back to that marriage in 1952

Basically you need David's birth cert, if you can pin down the date and place successfully. Do you know if he had any middle names? If not, what was his wife's name? If we can see the marriage record we might be in luck!

my mum remembers her telling her about her family the lamberts in leicester,my mum is david shaws daugther,marguerites granddaughter, could it be that when harry shaw married again he married a hunt

i am so grateful for your help,it looks as if they werent married,all i know is her son was born in skegness my gran and husband were there on holiday at the time, 30th may 1926 ,my mum feels sure the maiden name is lamberta bit of a mystery,

Looks like Hunt, but ideally you need to come forwards to what you have as fact. This would be your father or mother's birth I suspect, that is Marguerite's grandchild. Where did the Lambert name come from?

If son David T (?) was born in 1926 in Coventry then I am not sure that Lambert was her maiden name. Possible birth has Brotherton as mothers maiden name
