Perhaps they didn't. Elizabeth is shown as married in 1901, so may have been seperated.

I suppose by the 1911 census the girls were old enough to be in 'Service' somewhere and the boys could be married

thaNK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP OF THR 2 BOYS I THINK BILL JOINED THE FORCES AND ALBERT EMMIGRATED TO AUSTRAILIA ALONE ON ASSISTED PASSAGE NOT SURE WHEN HE WENT,
ITHINK FANNY MARRIED A MR TOWNSEND AND EMMIGRATED TO CANADA , THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE ALAN.
