There are two Hannah Hunters in Birkenhead in 1911, one appears to have a bother called Valentine, my guess, given that she gave her son that name.......

At a guess, Hannahs father was called John Archibald Hunter, her mother was Hannah

Guess what Hannah Mayers Hunter's mother was called when she married?

Marriages Jun 1891

Carr Catherine Birkenhead 8a 777
Hunter John Archibald Birkenhead 8a 777 <<<<
Mayers Hannah Birkenhead 8a 777 <<<<
Perkins Richard Birkenhead 8a 777

so John Archibald Hunter marrried Hannah Mayers. gave their daughter the name Hannah Mayers Hunter.
That Hannah mayers Hunter Married Robert Gill, and had the son John Evan Gill

am sorry Minnie. I wish I was as experienced as you at this, but am not! I dont understand why you feel I have made a right "numpty" out of you. I feel maybe you are making ME look the same for not understanding how this site works. I THOUGHT her name was anna, as that was what I had been told.if you re read my post of 23rd sept 17.25 you will see that I had JUST been told that her name was hannah, so I couldnt have told you previously. you must know, as you are so experienced, that not all info given you is correct, if it was, it would be so much easier to learn and find people. once more, my apologies, and thanks for the trouble you have taken to help me...regards...doreen gill ( site in my grandsons name of john uttley)

I have explained why!
You said someone was called Anna, as you can see I then went looking around for Anna/Anna variations.

Having changed it to now read 'Hannah' its looks as though I was looking for the wrong thing, and that hadn't read/understood your request properly.

So, please dont change original message, the fact that her name was Hannah had evolved and anyone reading through would have taken that on board.

Did you see that I did find the birth that you were looking for?
I'm not being 'funny ' or anything- just want you to get the best from this site.

John
