Rose Jukes was my grandfathers second wife ,Herbert was my fathers step brother ,and yes they lived in salisbury .Wilton road .is where my father lived with my mum sister and me .When my grandfather married he was bought up by william long but his real surname was Bower ,hence Bower Long

The marriage certificate would give their ages and marital status as well as their father's names.

I wonder if Rose had been married before?

If I remember correctly, I couldn't find their parents in 1861 so there is the possibility that they had died???

Hi .Is there any way we can find out why William,Albert and Edwin long were boarders in1861 with Saunders and Mary and Elizabeth seem to be as you might say shipped out as well
