Hi Reginald

I responded to your pm

Unfortunately I am not related to you, as Ann of Green Gables says I am like everyone else, just a fellow member who helps others with their research.

Unlikely TootyFruity is connected to you - she, like the rest of us, are just fellow members who help others with research

This bit?

1911:
CUTTER, Joseph Head Married M 77 1834 Farm Labourer Cambridgeshire Abington

Okay.....

M = Male

77= aged 77years

1834 = born in 1834.

Reginald

Reginald Report 5 Oct 2010 19:40

please explain what M77 1834 MEANS?

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 4 Oct 2010 18:48

You can't actually view the registration for Frederick, you will need to send for the certificate, if you think that is the right chap.

To do that, google GRO (General Register Office) certificate ordering service........www.gro.gov.uk and follow the guidelines. The certificates cost £9.25 each but are well worth it to get the information you need when searching your family's history. Use the reference numbers which were alongside Frederick's name earlier.

Regards. Cx

Reginald

Reginald Report 4 Oct 2010 18:39

how can i view the birth registration for frederick?

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 4 Oct 2010 17:08

Hi Reginald, as I told you in my first message to you, the helpers on here are just other paying members like yourself, none of us are related to you.

What the helpers have done is look up various records for you and copied them onto here because they may be helpful in your research.

The Pedigree item comes from a site called
familysearch.org which is free to search and has a lot of old parish records on it which is very useful. It may be helpful for you to take a look at it.

The census returns are simply for your information.

It may be helpful if you look at all the information bit by bit to work it all out.

Amelia Mynott 1839 -1909 married Raison Plumb 1839 - 1883 name not a joke.
They had Eliza Mary Ann Plumb in 1880 she married Sydney Plumb 1909 he died 1915 .His parents John Plumb born @ 1847 and Susan @ 1850

Eliza mary Ann married Charles Felix Bailey 1925 he was born 1870 and died 1927.

This has been a bit confusing as in 1911 Sydney gave his family with him,yet his wife and daughter were at Grannies house i.e Amelia Plumb a widow born 1840.

Maryb

If only all names were so easy to find,you can't really go wrong with Raison.
It's a new one on me.
