yes thats his first marriage his wife died May 1890 and my GGrandad was born July 1890 !!!
another researcher told me that John Salter Andrew had a couple of wives (his mother knew of him )
to be honest its the missing years that i am interested in but if you cant find the Steptoes in either 1901 or 1911 same as me then i will just have to admit defeat

This John Salter is part of the same family i am trying to find he is my GGrandads half brother
I am ok with the details i Have for him its his new family that is the total mystery the Steptoes

Well I cant find any of the Steptoes in 1911 or 1901 nor can I find Emma...
Nor can I find Emma before 1891 if that is her on 1891...

Nor can I find a birth for that name or date on ...freebmd for Emma Elizabeth.

Yes that is correct when John Steptoe died in 1911 his son John went to live with Charles & Sophie Andrew
as he was only 15 I suppose he met his future wife as they would have seen alot of each other

So the 2 half brothers married sisters?

just 1901 he is missing along with the rest of them although his sister Mary Ann /AKA Lily is living with her father in 1901 ???
not sure why maybe she didnt like Step father John Charles Steptoe and have her in 1911 48 Falkirk St as Lilian Biggs she was not actually married until 12/11/1911 and gives fathers name as John Salter Andrews
