Not checked that death as I had the 1907 entry which fitted the details (my entry two above here). This looks like it's going to get into a common surname and Christian name pot - already have possible Kelly's married to Kelly's.

There is 1 Alice Paterson other surname Craig born 1867 +/- 2 years death on Scotlandspeople. The death waas registered in Glasgow in 1901. Have you eliminated that as a possibility for your Alice please?

If Alexander and Alice died in Scotland then their death registrations will give their parent's names including their mother's maiden surnames - if the informant knew the details.

Where in Ireland did they marry please? (Birth certificate of a child born in Scotland gives the date and place of the parents marriage)

Do you have Alexander and Alice's marriage cert? That would give their ages and fathers' names and occupations.

Have you found them on the 1901 census?

Have you searched in trees on this site to see if anyone has them in their tree?

Both - majority of family unknown so trying to find siblings of wife's mother or living descendants of any aunts and uncles of my wife. Want to know what family circumstances were for two sisters to come to London from Glasgow and do what they did. I do know that my wife has 8 siblings/half siblings and have only managed to locate and talk with two but they know little more (or even less) than we do.
