Hi Astra,
Thankyou for this info,
It`s much appreciated.
It deffinatley looks to be correct, but where or what has happened to George.I know this may sound a little stupid, but sometime ago someone mentioned that George could have changed his name to Thomas Owen, because when Thomas died ,he re-appears, but i cant remember which index they got this from.Incredible mystery this one,it`s probably staring me in the face, but i just cant see it.
There is another George buried in the Droxford or Shedfield area of Hampshire, could this be him.

Yours
Glenn

Will if it as me I would be ordering this death certificate to see if it is your George. If it isn't we can begin searching again.
This has to be your next step.

Hi Mike
Just to let you know this is my george charles durrell.
It`s been along time for me but i still dont know when he died ,just cant find anything to put me on the right path.
there is a very slim possability he may have changed his name to thomas owen whome was in the same area.and george does have a connection with him via friendship.
the other problem i have is that it`s said he left everything he owned to go to the said said children, because his daughter married a merchant seaman, charlotte did do this so geoge i assume was still alive at that time which i think was around 1887.
I would give my right hand to get this sorted
