Alan, it's the Lewis/Fordham Family tree. There's no email address available (it's like on Genes, you have to click on their name to send message). If you put Joseph Pearson Sedgley into the search box it's the only tree that has a match.

If, you don't already have membership to Ancestry there's a 14 day free trial, which should be enough time to make contact (just remember to cancel the membership if you don't want to continue it!)

I cant find the family in 1871, maybe it would be best to get the birth cert that Flick posted to be sure of her name.

wife sarah 1840 liverpool with daughter lucy but no alice ?

If he was was living with sister in law called cooper in 1891, her name was probably Cooper but whether they married ??

Have just noticed the Ancestry tree owner has a death record attached:

England & Wales, Death Index: 1916-2005
about Alice Sedgley
Name: Alice Sedgley
Death Registration Month/Year: 1934
Age at death (estimated): 70
Registration district: Stockport
Inferred County: Cheshire
Volume: 8a
Page: 121

However, she may just have called herself Mrs Sedgley.

If you have the censuses, you could have mentioned that Alice's name may have been COOPER.....................

There is a public tree on Ancestry which has his spouse as Alice Cooper, born London 1864 (birth details apparently taken from census).

Although the tree is well documented they do not have any marriage details for the couple so have obviously encountered the same problem.
