Yes..don't forget they never celebrated birthdays like we do nowdays.....Also he could have lied about his age in order to join up

hi carol b this does look good info is it walter william taylor could they have missed the middle name out on the 1901 census n1911 census then

hi carol she is from llanidloes she is jane hamer but when she married walter she gave her name as jenny on har marriage cert and on ethel annie taylors birth cert her child she had with walter.

Yes that was the one Carol :o))....i managed to pick them up on the 1881 & Samuels birth place & occupation doesn't match the info that Choccy put one

i have him in 1891 living in shrewsbury on the marrage certificate it his near his barracks copthorne atcham
