Find Ancestors

Hiya, hoping someone can help me find William or George. George was born in 1826 in Tideswell Derbyshire and William is his father. George died in 1858 but I cant find him (or William) in either 1841 or 1851 census.

It could be, no sign of George yet!. I know that William was a framework knitter and a fair few came from Litton. But he would only be 15 when george was born?

Remember ages are rounded down in 1841 census and even then some seem to have been guessed at, so not maybe to accurate! And sorry, still can't find George

So George died in 1858 just after the birth of his son George jr. Mother remarried Edward Sellers

There is still no sign of George sr on any census records?

Hang on...this looks like the parents you say are George's. But Jane is born abt 1821 and William abt 1811 making them far too young to be Georges parents!

Ive deleted this death as it was the wrong one

And that census that Andrew posted....it says Jane is 'married' not widowed.

Also Allen is down as 1 year old and his 'father' William died 3 years before his birth....hmmmmmm
