Hello again. I am trying to find the birth of Roy or Malcolm Cooper born 1916 maybe in Birmingham or Buckinghamshire. The reason I ask is on a marriage certificate which I know is correct he is listed as Malcolm W R Cooper but I cannot find any birth cert for him with this name. I have found a birth cert for a Roy Cooper born in Walsall 1916. I dont have any more info on him other than this. His father was Henry P Cooper and he married Gwendoline Blowfield. She is not Roy's / Malcolms mother. If anyone can help me with this I will as always be very gratefull.

I honestly dont know if he was a widower. I have looked in the marriages for him before 1928 bur cannot find anything. He was my grandfather so I should know but sadly I dont. I think he was born in Birmingham 1881 but that might not be correct as I remember him having a very strong southern accent. Any help on this would be very wellcome.

Hi Shirley . I doesn't say how old he was on the marrage cert. I have got his death cert and it says he was 79 died 1987
The other Malcolm W R Cooper I dont know but there are a lot of people with the surname Blowfield in and around Wycome.

His death cert says Roy Cooper but his marrage cert says Malcolm W R Cooper. Its a big puzzle.

So Jean was a daughter of Henry P Cooper and Gwendoline Blowfield and she married Samuel Hartley.

It look like Malcolm W R Cooper was her brother born in 1943 and married in 1966 to a Linda J . wont post the full records as theres no death shown
