Rootgatherer, that must be the right family. I have run the childrens names past my dad and it looks like the one!

Although I'm not sure why the dates of birth of Annie and Louis don't match to their marriage certificate.

Jodie - that looks promising then.

Perhaps someone with a subscription for the 1911 will look at it and post it so we can see where Annie gives as her place of birth - Steyning is just where the family are living. I only used the free search facility to find that.

It could be the right family if Annie maybe swapped her names around as she got older which a few members of my family have!

I am very excited now!
My only concern is where is the father Henry/Harry in the 1881 census? It shows Rosette as the head but I know he hadn't died because he was at Annies marriage in 1890

Yes, I think that you have found the correct Ada / Annie there. Looks like they called her Ada to begin with and by the time she was 11 she was Anna then later Annie.

I am sure that is her with her husband and children on the 1911 but would like to see the details just to be sure.

The 1891 also fits the family Sue had found, and I forgot to say, in 1881, Henry was also a Commercial Traveller, working away from home, in Newcastle.
