Hi Julie
I am so pleased that you are happy with what everyone has found for you.
The details of contacts for the sisters of mercy is on a reply above but I thought it might be useful to you to have things all together, so that you can perhaps highlight/copy and print it all in one go to look at at your leisure. So I have taken the liberty of typing most of the possible relevant details below -

You really need the marriage certificate of your grandparents Julie to check whether Neil has his fathers name the same as the one we have found. Just to make sure that we have the right family. You can order it here - https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/default.asp
The marriage was Oct-Dec quarter of 1924 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire reference 7b 239
Charlotte Candrick to Neil Kelly.

Charlotte Candrick was born July-Sept 1901 (7th June from death ref) in Merthyr Tydfil – Breconshire, Glamorgan. Volume 11a page 709
Died July-Sept 1978 – Mansfield, Nottinghamshire – Volume 8 Page 0183

Neil Kelly Death reference – April-June 1967 – age estimated 63 – Mansfield ref 3c 190

Possible birth for Neil found on Scotlands people –
Neil Kelly birth July 12th 1903 at 26 East Mill Yard - Arbroath
Father Charles Kelly – General Labourer – Mother Mary Ann Kelly, formerly Gordon, Maiden surname O’Neill. Charles and Mary. Married March 24th 1899 in Edinburgh.
Birth Registered by Mary Kelly on 1st August 1903

Possible first marriage for Mary O’Neill (Neil’s mother) to Robert Gordon in 1883 in Arbroath.

Likely death for Neil’s mother Mary Ann Kelly/Gordon/O’Neil – 1914 in Arbroath, Angus – aged 52 yrs

Marriage details for (possible) Neil’s parents i.e. your great grandparents.
21st March 1899 at 8 Royal Crescent Edinburgh after banns – The Church of Scotland
Charles Kelly – Masons labourer – bachelor – aged 42 – living at 23 Albert Street Edinburgh
To Mary Ann O’Neill or Gordon – widow – aged 39 – Living at the same address

Possible birth ref of Charles –
Father: Charles Kelly
Mother: Mary Docherty

CHARLES KELLY - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Birth: 04 AUG 1855 Neilston, Renfrew, Scotland

HER parents (also possibly your great great grandparents) – Charles O’Neill – General Labourer – deceased – and Alice O’Neill maiden surname Alice Lean (or could be McLean)

This looks a possible for O’Neil family in 1871 with Alice mistranscribed as Alles
