Do you know when William died? I am just wondering if she got married again?

Selena
See earlier, William did not die until 1936 and may have married a second time in 1911 which lends credence to the idea that the marriage to Ada was annulled or divorced

GillianMac

GillianMac Report 24 Nov 2010 12:14

I very much doubt that the 1911 census posted is the right one -that William says he has been married 17 years which means 1894 not thecorrect 1897 and the spelling is different and there are no middle initials

No Julie, you misunderstand, I was saying that doesn't look like the marriage because her age is wrong.

You have the details of her marriage to in Sept 1897 to William John T Sheppard.
