Would anyone have access to American births please?
I am looking for the names/birth years of 2 children born around the late 1940s.in America to Ralph Gabriel and wife Joan (nee Robertson Esmond)
Joan arrived there in 1946. I don't know which state they lived in but last address in 1994 was Florida where Ralph died.

USA births tend to be held at State level, or even by County, so if you don't know where the Gabriels lived, they'd be rather difficult to track down. As the last available US census is 1930, not sure how people would go about it.

Someone may be able to tell you how to get hold of Ralph's DC, which 'may' contain useful information.

So if SSN issued in New York perhaps that is where they first lived?
I believe Ralph was actually foreign born but fought for USA in WW2.
And thanks for the link ,I will try to get the cert,as someone must have registered the death and may not have been Joan(with any luck)
