Find Ancestors

Hi can anyone help me find the birth of Patrick lenihan, I think he would have been born around 1900 in the north east he was married twice. His first wife had 3 children and died in childbirth.
He then married again and had 10 children i have the details of the children. but iam unable to find his birth, death or marriages. His 2nd wifes maiden name was Kelly. The last child was born 1953.

As he was married twice, it may be that his second wife had also been married before, so any marriage would be in her first married name

Perhaps he didn't marry in England/Wales?

Where was the child born in 1953 registered? Was it a girl in Durham NW?

You really need to find us the correct spelling as there are a few possibles for him

Do you have his parents names and have you found him in 1911 census?

When did the first wife die?

What was her name?

Have no detail on his parents.
Lenihan is correct is the correct spelling.

I looked at the death aged 74 Thought he might be too old as his youngest child would have only been age 6?.

If he'd married and produced three children by 1922, one would have thought he'd have been born earlier than 1900

I repeat................what was the first wife's name?

Have you looked for her death to get some firm date info?

At the moment, there is no way of knowing where he was born..........producing children in County Durham doesn't indicate that he was born there.......

Both his and his second wife's surnames are Irish

Sorry i don't know any thing about his first wife.
because not knowing anything about her i have not looked for her yet, I am bit new to this so t thought if i found him first it would lead me to there marriage. Sorry if this is not enough information.

Unfortunately, it's probably going to mean buying at least one cert to get a 'handle' on the man.

The birth cert of any of the children of the second marriage would give you the full details for the mother, which may help to pin down his second marriage, which would be a start for you.

The three children were called . James, Maureen, and i think the 1 that died was William so this could be right. All the family live around the Consett / Lanchester area now.
I think this is looking to be the right person.
