If that is the sister she would have died very young as I know my grandfather grew up as an only child, so maybe there would be a death cert?

I'm unsure of the top one but it could be right - the sussex bit throws me a bit though, as they were married in Islington in 1913

and madmeg thanks that would make a lot of sense, as I can't find a cecilia or a christine, although there are 12 children supposedly and the guys have found 11 so you never know!

Cissie could be short for Christine or Christina. My husband had an Auntie Cissie who was Christina. But lots of families also called the eldest sibling Sis, so that could apply to Teresa.
