Thank you Nicky. I wonder where George Senior disappeared to there? It says Marrried and I know he's still alive until the next census. Where's he gone?

Looking at Lancs opc there are many Rimmer/Johnson marriages in ST Cuthberts in North Meols dating back to the 1500s!!

They don`t have William Johnson to Jane Rimmer in 1880, but i should think there is a good chance they were related as the census entries being put up are showing.....

Just a few of them over the early 1800s....

Thank you Roy and Marion, that must be them in 1881! So it's *not* the other william, so there were two William Johnsons born in Noth Meols at the same time.
