Yes thats him, he was the father of my m in law, but was told that he died. Her mother married again in 1924. Her name was Emily Ada Algie nee Pontefract.

I suppose if he was named Ethelbert he may have a pet name,
could he use that name on registering a childs birth.

Forget Ethelbert!!.....it looks as if he died in 1967
