Hiya all

Sorry for the delay - have just been so busy today.

Right well,we are still waiting to see the birth certificate - for Jesse Bevans, but wont be able too see it until Sunday, when our nephew visits - so I can't confirm anything about Elizabeth Wilson,and to see if a mistake has been made ???.

Should I be looking for george married to a different Elizabeth?? - until I can verify either way i would rather leave Wilson Elizabeth out of it, and follow the records

Am Waiting for James Robert Bevans birth cert to come back

HIya all

Been searching for the maiden name of Elizabeth Bevans - married to George Bevans

We are doubtful about Wilson now - although we are still waiting for some records to come back...

Please could you just assist us again in trying to find this info out..
as we cannot access 'birth records' at present on 'GR'...

To find births. marriages or deaths use freebmd

Most people that try to help on these boards do not use GR records anyway

Thanks, i have read all posts on this thread and thank everyone for their input..
Have seen 1911 census and others with both George and Elizabeth entered in them..

but cant seem to find this...

Elizabeths maiden name

Have been on Free BMD and can't find their marriage on there either... which was why I posted the last message.

Hi all,

Just wamted to update you

Finally after trawling through umpteen records we have found the marriage of George Bevans and the elusive Elizabeth Wilson - she was there all along and we missed her - bless her!

on Free BMD George's surname was recorded as 'Bebins'
As soon as you find George Bebins's name on the list Elizabeth matches his Dist/Vol/Page Nos..

Dist - West Ham
Vol - 4a
Page - 131

Lists her with him..we have also found birth and death records for both, that we believe are theirs but just need to do some more cross referencing to be 100 percent.

We have now seen jesse bevans birth record,and it comfirms george bevans and elizabeth wilson as parents,so the pieces and now slotting together,many many thanks to all who helped us with finding this infomation,best wishes
