Can anyone help in tracing my aunt and her family her name is Elizabeth Casey dod c1925, born in swansea she married and moved to Newzeland

Elizabeth Agnes Casey widow - probate granted in 1986 Ashburton. Looks like the will is in the Christchurch archives if that is the same person.

Death cert should give family details. It is anon historical record so expect plenty of red tape.

Getting the probate record first should give you date of death which will help getting the cert.

I have not been able to find any details of my Aunt not even a birth cert I understand from family members that she was born in swansea in c1925 and that she married but i'm sorry I dont know where. her mothers maiden name was also Casey

ok found it her name was Betty not Elizabeth 1924

There is a marriage in Neath in 1949 but cannot see any emmigration for that name

The Birth I found was just in the name of Betty in swansea how do you know that was the name she emmigrated under? That one was living in Devon before she left England also

well its not correct as I have just told you what her birth name was. If she married she would'nt travel in her maiden name with two christian names that are not hers

There are quite a few Betty Casey marriages only two in wales the other one was in 1970....unless you can find out who she married of perhaps an area where this took place its going to be hard to find
