Keep trying website but still says there is an error! Do you know how much information the website gives regarding the burial details? Looking at the error message it seems they have some sort of virus problem!

Just think Maura & Erinbragh1916 we could be related Lol! It will only take another 20 years to find out, especially if my gt grandmother keeps changing her name on her certificates!

Maura

Maura Report 9 Feb 2011 10:46

Well your not going to believe this, but I have been helping a friend do her tree and one set of her great grandparents come from Wexford and called Redmond who married a Catherine Byrne. We both live in Belfast.

Lol I went with a friend to one and she said to my friend who was having a reading with her "who is researching their family tree"? my mate said not me you are picking up on my friend next door! After the medium said to me that she was geting connections to Ireland and that i would visit one day which i have done now! and that she was also getting the surname Byrnes and that i would find connections in Belfast also!

Maura Report 8 Feb 2011 19:15

Maura

Very good Shazz, if they weren't already dead you'd kill half of them.

Yola Farm has closed down, not sure if its relocating! Sorry about multiple threads. I did give up on this side of the family for a while and i never thought of adding to an old thread, To be honest i did not think people would bother reading if i added on and they way its going with this side of the family the number of thread pages would look like a copy of war & peace by now!! x
Tried that website afew time now and just keep getting a pop up with eror message.

Maura Report 8 Feb 2011 16:42

It would be easier if she had kepted to the one thread, shes 5 going on this family that I can find. The search that Yola farm did came back with a birth for a Ellen Byrne. 1901 & 1911 census have her a Penelope

Eringobragh1916 Report 8 Feb 2011 16:13

Maura...Yola Farm is/was the Gen.Centre Co Wexford but I am not sure if it is still "active"...was talk about it closing down when I was in Wexford 2009...
Shazzlou had then search for Penella Byrne....but you need to look at all her posts to follow her saga...!!
Its easier if you just put in advanced search.. Byrne..Shazzlou...they will all pop up

Glasnevin cemetery is in Dublin city Co Dublin, McClane Lane is also in Dublin, so she must of been living there if some of the certs give that address. John Byrne in the 1901 census say he was born in Dublin so maybe the family moved from Wexford to Dublin at some pont. I would have a look at the burial of Henry Jackson, he may be buried with some of the Byrne family. The 2nd marriage may have her father's name wrong as 1 of her sons was called Nicholas. What is Yola Farm is it a genealogy centre, if so they may not have all the records.

Shazzlou Report 8 Feb 2011 15:54

1911 Penelope said she was born Oylegate Co Wexford and Yola Farm in Wexford did a search for me and the only birth they found in 1860 was for Ellen Byrne in Oylegate and her parents were Peter Byrne & Margaret Bulger. The age she gives in all census would have made her born 1864 and 4 years older they my gt grandfather. The first marriage certificate is correct as has my gt grandfather on it and was soldier in staffs reg. That gives her fathers name as Michael. On finding certificate for 1st marriage and also her child of that marriage those certificates seem right but how come father Nicholas listed on that? What you have found is interesting Maura! I know its confusing me searching in Kildare again but when her marriage to my gt grandfather was in Curragh and then i saw that birth for an Ellen Byrne 1864 Curragh and my gt grandparents seem to have told so many lies in documents i have found!!! Im tearing my hair out!!! Glasnevin Dublin is that Wexford or near Curragh??? And does it give more info??

Maura

Maura Report 8 Feb 2011 14:13

Shazzlou, can I ask how you got from Oylegate Co wexford to Newbridge Co Kildare, I've read your old threads not unless I've missed one, but I can't understand how you ended up searching Kildare. According to the 1901 census she was born Wexford and you said 1911 has her born Oylegate Wexford. The census only give a estimate birth year so she could of been born a few years before. Registration didn't start until 1864 for birth in Ireland, so you would have to find her baptism, St David's R.C. Oylegate town Co Wexford maybe able to help you.

This site has burial for Glasnevin Dublin there a burial for a Henry Jackson , also burials for a Nicholas Byrne

JACKSON HENRY DUBLIN Glasnevin 1886 Burial 30 -
BYRNE NICHOLAS DUBLIN Glasnevin 1899 Burial 60
