I wonder if he married Margaret E. Costigan who was previously married and her maiden name was Barrett. Off to look.

Looks more likely if he was born in Romford to marry in Ilford rather than Blean

Sorry for the delay you have been busy. David is still alive his 65yrs as far as I know his parents are decd. Thanks for the information Ive have Margaret Costigan now and am trying to unravel it out.|So You think Margaret was married before being barrett.

No, Margaret's maiden name was Barrett. It's on David's birth registration as mother's maiden name Barrett. But she had married Joseph Costigan in 1934 and then later married Horace C. Marshall as Margaret E. Costigan in 1945. I haven't found the death yet of her first husband Joseph Costigan, perhaps they divorced.

Do You think that Elizabeth Buck and Frederick Marshal were the parents of Horace Marshall. They were married in 1909 in uxbridge what do you think?

The Frederick Marshall and Elizabeth Buck marriage is the only one that seems to fit but I don't know how far away Uxbridge is from Romford. (I'm in Canada)
