Catherine Goate 1877 she was my great nan

so when looking up Census and birth records some say Catherine Carmichael Goate

i have had an email saying she married a Furniss thats why i'm not sure if i have the right person now

George James Hubbard born 1899 granfather great Yarmouth, i have this birth cert and on this it say Catherine Goate

I think we can saftely say then, that Catherine "Carmichael" Goate, is not your Grt Grandmother. There does not seem to be a birth entry for Catherine Goate born Woolwich!

But could she have been able or allowed to put Catherine Goate on a
Birth Cert and on the Marriage Cert??

Jo if your grandfather was George James Hubbard then go with that marriage and buy the cert. this will tell you her fathers name and occupation.

Jo I am having trouble with pooter and the genes site, it keeps locking up.

If George Hubbard is the son of Samuel Hubbard c1843 I can't find them on any other census but the 1901 and an earlier one for 1871 so they must be on either missing census or mistranscribed.

I have a copy of George James Hubbard birth Cert feb 1875 born in the District of Mutford Gorleston Great Yarmouth

Eleanor Rackham 19 spinster and her father Samuel Rackham but she signed the marriage cert but she couldn't sign the birth!!!!! Hmmmmm strange lady
but apart from that i cant find any more on them either
