I ordered and have now received Elsie's birth cert and her parents were
Elsie Maud and Sydney Bonner, born 13 October 1911 91 Paradise Road, Clapham,London.

So much for Eli cousin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I should have added this now confirms my 1911 census record.

Oh how frustrating trees can be, so now I have her parents but no marriage for them -
Sydney Bonner and Florence Mary Ann Barnes, they are on the 1911 census state their ages as he 23 born Abingdon and she 22 born London.

I have tried looking on FBMD, Ancestry and Genes, any help to find anything about these two would be much appreciated.

I am a bit confused by your last two posts - in one you say her parents are Elsie Maud and Sydney Bonner but in the last you have the mother as Florence Mary Ann Barnes. Which is correct.

Could you post the full details of the 1911? How long do they say they have been married and are there any other children?

I am beginning to think that Sydney and Elijah are the same person.

No Sydney Bonner born in Oxforshire in 1887-1889 but there is an Elijah who disappears after 1901 but I can't find a marriage for Elijah/Sydney to Florence!

I am sure the 1911 census I have is right Florence with Sydney it has the same address as the birth certificate for Elsie.

I am wondering like you if he the Elijah on the census but does not give a middle name. Elijah is down as being born in Abingdon and that is the area Sydney gives on the census
