I wonder if Albert stretched the truth when he married? Is this his death please?

Name: Albert Henry Griffiths
Birth Date: 5 Oct 1911
Death Registration Month/Year: Mar 1998
Age at death (estimated): 86
Registration district: North Tyneside
Inferred County: Tyne and Wear
Register number: A22C
District and Subdistrict: 0541A
Entry Number: 179

EDIT

I don't see a birth to tie in with that death so perhaps the informant gave the wrong DOB

As I said earlier in this thread, I obtained The Marriage Cert for Albert Henry Griffiths & May Walsh, but not sure if that is the correct DOD, I'll have to look into it Thank You

Yes I agree, it looks like a dead end, I'm almost sure he was born in 1909

Hi again all, I have a question, still waiting on birth & death certs for my Grandad Albert Henry Griffiths b 1911 d 1998, but my question is he and May had 2 daughters Nellie b 1931 & Jean b 1934 who could still be living, so can I ask for assistance to try and trace them, or is it strictly Deceased relatives we can get help with???

Kind Regards
Albert

Hi again All,

Thank you for the marriage records, they were spot on!!!! And I have since received the death cert for their dad Albert Henry Griffiths, he was indeed born
in 1911, 5th Oct, to be exact, and he was born in Wales, the informant to death was Nellie Stachurski, my Aunty, who turns out to have married 3 times!!! her last to: Zbyslaw Stachurski, 1978 sept qtr in North Tyneside,
My problem now is I'm stuck!!! cant trace Albert Henry's Parents, any help would be as always greatly appreciated

Regards

Albert

The DOB is only as known to the person registering the death.......as is the birthplace.

'Wales' is a bit vague.............

Have you tried looking yourself on freebmd for a birth matching the info on the death cert?

You said earlier that his father wasn't named on his marriage cert, so you will be able to trace only his maternal line.............

I have searched bmd and Ancestry for a relating birth cert, which I couldnt find, hence the reason for asking help here, I understand that Wales is vague, apologies for that,

Thank you for the possible birth record, appreciate it!;-)

Hi again, the reason he wasn't on the 1911 census is that he wasn't born until Oct, and the census as you know was released in April
