Hoping someone can help with the following for a friend of mine - any assistance will be much appreciated


"looking for the death of William Reynolds who livrd in Scarborough he was born approx 1889 married an Alice C Crighton in 1914, she died in 1943 in Scarborough. William was a chauffer, not sure of any children but would like to find his death though he may have moved away after her death. When they married they lived in Ravenscar North Yorks.
Also I am still trying to find the death of Alexander Cameron Crighton who was a Marine Engineer he was born in 1854 but was listed as Alice's father at her wedding in 1914 but not deceased done loads of searches but no joy, any help please?"

I don't usually ask for help on here but I am useless on deaths!!! and I will not take the credit if someone comes up with the goods!!

Is it possible that Alexander may have returned to Scotland and died there? Where and when did his wife die please?

Sorry I am a bit "slow" on this! My sincere thanks to all so far who have helped me on these names of Alexander Crichton and William Reynolds. Not sure what happened to Alice's mother nee Dixon as she seems to have vanished in 1901. Yes I think that Alexander may have died either at sea or went back up to Scotland?
