Technically, Decima means "tenth" -- Romans sometimes named their children by number. ;)

Octavius/Octavia is eighth, Septimus is seventh, and so on. Her parents must have just liked the name.

Her mother was Florence decina Scott its very strange

After some reaserch I have several last names for
Geoff, tussock, crayston,Jackson or dyer I have also found Albert married an Emily brown but I don't know about william

Bethany

Bethany Report 23 Mar 2011 19:49

That should be ruddock not tussock

But we ruled out Ruddock. I was the one who found that surname for Muriel, and she did not have a child with that name.

I don't find a
Crayston-Jackson
Dyer-Jackson
or Jackson-Brown
birth with that name (Geoff* or Jeff*, anywhere near the right time).

That leaves William as the possible father, unfortunately.
