	Cannot find any record of David Cockburn marrying Helen or Rachel Blyth(e).

	Mary - This Elizabeth could be my John's mother - I will look into it further. The Cockburn connection I have is he was raised by Cockburns. Maybe there was an earlier connection which is why they took him in & we are related to Cockburn's by blood. Flick - I have searched SP & cannot find David marrying Rachel or Helen - or any other names close to them. Am starting to think they were not legally married? have searched here & SP with no success tonight - will come back to it tomorrow after work.

	I had a look on SP too and I don't think that David and Rachel married.

	Mary, Do you mean that 2 families McMoran and Cockburn were at 40 Easter St or a marriage between McMoran and Cockburn families was at that address? I haven't come across McMoran in the family - i think David's mother was Agnes Richardson - I have a record of David born 1849 residing in Horndean. Not 100% sure but so far this is the only one I have found.

	Rootgatherer, I have found Rachel's death certificate which says she was married to David & he was the one to register the death. Don't know why I can't find a marriage but have to accept what I am looking at & accept I will not get date - but will keep looking maybe will find clue if I can find other members of their families.

	When it says McMoran/cockburn at Easter street it is the name the transcriber gave. He wrote Mcmoran down when infact it was Cockburn. Maryb
