Find Ancestors

Hi everyone when i put GERTRUDE PUGH in for birth cert it comes up as 1904 and it shows her as normal..When i go for her married cert it comes up 1928 which is normal.. Switch name to Naughton for death cert and it shows 12.9.1900 which is correct d.o.b. so is this why the census are wrong with her information and would that be a problem with my grandads information because she is now born in 1904 not 1900 it does not say my grandad was born in IRELAND and my mum said he was 100% thanks hope i can get more help :)

So the person who registered her death didn't know correct birth details........far from unusual.

Buy her marriage cert for info about her declared age at the time...it's more likely to be correct.

Which document....'does not say grandad was born in Ireland'?

OK, she married and died in Manchester..........that doesn't mean she was born there

Do you have ANY documentary evidence relating to Gertrude?

Christopher, we all want to help but need to know what you know. Gertrude's father's name is important in finding her 1911.

she was 83 when died she had a 80th party a few years earlier n we lived next door my nan all our life in middleton manchester
married JAMES NAUGHTON in 1928 i dont have any information on my grandad as he was not around when i was born.. Believed he died around 1980-90's come from county mayo thanks again :)

And also i dont have birth cert for my nan.. No sorry i dont have her dads name ??? only know her hubby JAMES NAUGHTON from mayo in ireland :)
